The WÜRTH MODYF ISMF World Cup Finals are confirmed at the beginning of April 2022 in Flaine, France

 

Lausanne, 16 March 2022 – Jointly with the Local Organising Committee of Flaine and la Fédération Française de la Montagne et de l’Escalade (FFME), the ISMF is pleased to confirm the race event named Flaine 2022, to be held from 6 to 9 April 2022.

 

The detailed programme of the event, which will take place except for cases of force majeure not depending on the International Federation, is available at any time on the event website.

 

Technical information:

 

Registrations:

The registrations in the Flaine World Cup races open tomorrow, 17 March 2022, and will close on Thursday 31 March 2022 at 12:00 CEST (midday). After that date, registrations will be no longer possible.

Before registering in any ISMF World Cup or Championships, athletes must have their own valid ISMF licence. You can check the current valid licences here.

Accommodation:

The Local Organising Committee of the Flaine World Cup offers the accommodation at a negotiated rate of 56,00 € per day/person (full board).

The selected location for the accommodation is the UCPA Centre Les Lindars (Flaine Forum, 74300 Arâches-la-Frasse, France) for the people who would like to be accommodated inside the ski resort. The UCPA Centre (200 beds) will host only ISMF World Cup teams, like last season. It will be possible to be accommodated at the UCPA Centre from Sunday 3 to Saturday 9 April 2022 at midday.

To book your accommodation, please provide Mr. Christophe Billon (accommodation@skimo-worldcup.com / +33 616 414 664) with the following information before Monday 28 March 2022:

  • National Federation and Country of belonging
  • Total number of participants for each team (athletes + coaches + eventual accompanying staff)
  • Room sharing (it could be modified by the hotel)
  • Arrival and departure dates
  • Special information (food, special requirements, etc.)

Like last season, a small contract will be prepared by the UCPA staff to be signed on-site by the coach/representative person of each team.

Covid-19 & ISMF:

The ISMF calls to mind that the scheduled races will be held in full compliance with the anti-Covid measures and that each person involved in the event will have the obligation to strictly follow the ISMF Covid-19 guidelines available here.

As usual, the ISMF provides everybody with a letter of movements to cross the border lines, in case of necessity.

Furthermore, the ISMF kindly asks for a great cooperation from all teams to fill in the Excel document sent to you in relation to the request of the following information (please pay attention as there are two different sheets to fill in inside the file):

  • Accommodation of the teams, including arrival and departure dates, hotel/apartment of overnight staying, name/surname/role of each person present at the competition venue;
  • National Team Covid-19 Coordinator with name/surname and relative contacts.

This document has to be sent back to the ISMF Office (office2@ismf-ski.org) no later than Tuesday 29 March 2022.

 

Covid-19 & LOC:

As per ISMF regulations, all participants in the event are asked to perform a Covid-19 antigen test no more than 24 hours prior to the on-site accreditation, if fully vaccinated, or a Covid-19 RT-PCR test no more than 48 hours prior to the on-site accreditation, if not vaccinated.
