The ISMF confirms the admission of the Kosovo Mountaineering and Sport Climbing Federation as a Full ISMF National Member.
The membership application was reviewed and approved by the ISMF Council during its meeting held online on 18 December 2025. With this admission, the ISMF now counts 56 National Members, each contributing to the development and promotion of Ski Mountaineering worldwide.
The inclusion of Kosovo reflects the continued development of Ski Mountaineering in new regions. Through ISMF membership, the Kosovo Mountaineering and Sport Climbing Federation gains access to the international competition framework, development opportunities, and cooperation with other National Members.
Commenting on the admission, Arianit Nikçi, President of the Kosovo Mountaineering and Sport Climbing Federation, said: “We are honoured to become part of the ISMF family and look forward to actively contributing to the development and promotion of Ski Mountaineering at both regional and international levels.”
The ISMF welcomes the Kosovo Mountaineering and Sport Climbing Federation and looks forward to supporting its athletes, officials, and development activities within the growing ISMF framework.
