ISMF Asian Championships

The programme of the event is available on the event website. Please note that the event programme may be subject to minor changes in the coming weeks.

Registration:

The registration process for the ISMF Asian Championships is open from today until Saturday 7 March 2026 at h. 23:59 CET. After that date, registrations will be no longer possible through the standard procedure. You can register your athletes through the ISMF intranet by clicking on the “Registration” button in the top menu bar. Before registering in any ISMF World Cup or Championships, athletes must have their own valid ISMF licence.  

Licence:

According to the ISMF Rules & Guidelines, only athletes holding a valid ISMF Competition Licence (Licence C) for the current ISMF season can be listed in the official ISMF Asian Championships results and therefore gaining points for the World Ranking. Of course, athletes holding ISMF Elite or Youth Licences (Licences A or B) are also eligible, as these licences are of a higher grade than Licence C. Athletes without a valid ISMF licence may only be classified for the Open race, but not for the ISMF Asian Championships. For your information, athletes may apply for the ISMF Licence C in one of two ways:

1. Through their National Member via the ISMF intranet (using the usual login details) – licence fees will be invoiced to the ISMF NM at the end of the current competitive season;
2. Directly via this link: ISMF Licence Application. In this case, the National Member will receive the document for final signature, and the athlete will pay for the licence directly during the application process.

Quotas: 

The ISMF kindly informs that for the Asian Championships there is a maximum quota of participants per nation for each category (Men & Women) for each race as summarised below:

• Individual, Sprint and Vertical races:
• Senior: 4 M and 4 W (including U23 athletes)
• Mixed Relay race:
• Senior: 3 teams (including U23 athletes)

In relation to quotas, the ISMF points out that there will be the bonus of an additional registration for each gold medal awarded at the ISMF Asian Championships 2024 held in Bei Da Hu Ski Resort (China) in the same category of pertinence as follows:

Please note that no athletes from ISMF National Members outside of the Asian Continental Council may participate in the Asian Championships.  

Late registrations & substitutions:

Furthermore, as per ISMF Rules & Guidelines, the ISMF informs that for the Asian Championships each National Member has to make a global registration before the event by the above-mentioned deadline. Afterwards, coaches can modify the registrations as follows:

• The day before each race,no later than 13:30 (Local Time): possibility to register additional athletes by communication to ycheng@gmail.com, he4885168@163.com and valeria.ponzo@ismf-ski.org (penalty of 100% in addition to the standard registration fee – The amount is to be paid through the usual ISMF online payment system. The ISMF Office with provide the payment link as soon as possible). Additional athletes will have the last bib numbers in the start lists.
• The day before each race, no later than 13:30 (Local Time): possibility to replace athletes (already registered in the Asian Championships) by communication to ycheng@gmail.com, he4885168@163.com and valeria.ponzo@ismf-ski.org, for free.

 

Composition of the teams for the Mixed Relay race:

The final composition of the teams taking part in the scheduled Mixed Relay race should be communicated on the WhatsApp group named “Asian Championships – National Teams” (to be created soon) no later than Wednesday 18 March 2026 at 13:30 (Local Time).

The deadline for accommodation booking is 10 March 2026. Please also send the mobile phone number of the team manager together with arrival information.

• Then take taxi to the ski resort or transfer by train to West Yabuli Railway Station.
• The distance from Harbin Taiping International Airport to the venue is about 3 hours by car (260KM).

TRAIN:

• West Yabuli Station
• The distance from West Yabuli Railway Station to the venue is about 0.5 hours by car (20KM).
• Notice: If any team needs help to book pick up & send service between hotel and airport, please contact us at ycheng@gmail.com. The price is as follows:
  • GL8 MPV: 7 seater (including driver), 200 USD in total
  • Coaster: 20 seater, 300 USD in total
