Biography

About the Athlete

Johanna’s love for sport began in her childhood, sharing active adventures with her family. At 18, she tried her first vertical ski mountaineering race and immediately fell in love with the sport. Inspired by the Olympics five years ago, she committed to competing at the highest level and has since achieved multiple World Cup podiums and earned Olympic qualification.

Balancing life as a mother of two boys with her athletic career has presented unique challenges, making her accomplishments even more meaningful. Johanna starts her days early to manage both her family and training, and she works closely with a mental coach to stay focused and confident.

Off the slopes, Johanna enjoys cooking and baking, though she admits she often forgets things along the way. Her ultimate goal is to win an Olympic medal, and through her journey, she hopes to inspire others by showing the beauty of ski mountaineering and proving that anything is possible when you believe in yourself.

To her fans, Johanna says: “Thank you for following Skimo and supporting me along the way.”
