Following approval by the ISMF Council, several updates have been confirmed to the 2026 competition calendar.
The ISMF Asian Championships 2026 will take place from 15 to 21 March 2026 at Yabuli Ski Resort in Harbin, China. The event will feature Vertical, Sprint, Mixed Relay and Individual races for Senior athletes. The confirmation of Yabuli reflects the continued development of Ski Mountaineering in Asia and provides a strong continental platform for elite competition.
In parallel, two established long-distance team events have been confirmed as part of the ISMF Series, reinforcing the depth of the endurance segment of the calendar:
- Transcavallo (Italy): 27 February 2026 – 1 March 2026: Individual (Senior), Long Distance Team (Senior), Individual (Youth – U18, U20)
- Tour du Rutor Extreme (Italy): 28–29 March 2026 – Long Distance Team (Senior)
