Monika Strojny is a Council member of the Polish Mountaineering Federation and author of the Polish Skimo Youth Group with almost 60 kids and youngsters trained in mountains. She is a national and international ski mountaineering referee, alpine ski instructor and Tatra mountain guide. She organises one of the hardest ultra run in Poland: the Bieg Grania Tatr. She studied journalism at Warsaw University, but then moved to Zakopane to live in the mountains. Monika has been elected member of the ISMF Council in September 2019.
