Manufacturers Pool

As an international federation, the ISMF is committed to contributing to the development of ski mountaineering equipment used in competitions.​

 

The ISMF’s goal is to establish a framework for constructive discussions on all matters related to equipment, with the aim of building synergy with standards and promoting the overall development of competition equipment.​

 

The ISMF also expects manufacturers to contribute to the development of this sport and its equipment, as this cooperation will undoubtedly have positive outcomes, such as attracting more athletes and increasing the sport’s media exposure.​

 

For this reason, the ISMF has created a group called the Manufacturer Pool: a group composed by producers of specialized material for Ski Mountaineering, who are not appointed by ISMF National Members, but who are accepted if they meet the admission criteria.​

 

The Manufacturer Pool does not sponsor the ISMF as its members aim to develop the sport in terms of more than just direct media impact.
